Meet the Experts Behind Our Company

Success Partners is located in West Michigan and co-owned by Rusty Richter and Kent Vanderwood. Kent and Rusty have more than 40 years of experience in business, nonprofits, consulting and political leadership and strategy. Both have been active in Michigan politics for 40 years.

Rusty Richter is a licensed broker, real estate agent, and partner with Success Partners. He has been involved in West Michigan conservative politics for over 40 years.

He is a former member of the West Michigan Leadership Caucus, 3rd Congressional District Committee of the Michigan Republican Party, Michigan Republican Party State Committee, The Grassroots Fund (a political educational resource) and as the Treasurer of the Kent County Republican Party.

Rusty has a unique business background, as he has experience in many sectors; including real estate, hospitality, restaurant, and retail. Rusty has received the Realtor Active in Politics Award and the Government Affairs Committee Service Award from the Grand Rapids Association of Realtors.

He is a member of Resurrection Life Church. Rusty lives in Wyoming, Michigan with his wife Pam and are proud parents of size children.

Kent Vanderwood

Kent Vanderwood has been involved in community fundraising and political campaigns since the 1980s. He is currently the Mayor of the City of Wyoming, Michigan.

For 16 years he served as a member of the city council – completing 4 terms on the council. For nearly 30 years, Kent worked in public and private education. He is a partner, development director and consultant for the Timothy Group, an organization that specializes in pre-campaign studies, capital campaigns, major donor programs, strategic planning, development assessments, executive fundraising, mentoring and board development.
